Education Built on
Thoughtful Understanding
Mongkhol was founded to give adults over 40 in Thailand a clear and calm path through the complexities of the Thai tax system β without pressure and without jargon.
Back to HomeThe Mongkhol Centre
Mongkhol began in Bangkok in 2018, when a small group of tax educators noticed a consistent pattern: many adults approaching their mid-life or pre-retirement years were making important savings decisions without a clear understanding of how Thai tax deductions could work in their favour.
Rather than offering rushed consultations or dense written guides, we chose a different path β structured, human-paced education that respects the complexity of tax-linked decisions while making the subject accessible to those with no accounting background.
Today, Mongkhol serves professionals, business owners, and long-term residents across Bangkok and beyond, helping them approach their tax situation with greater awareness and fewer assumptions.
Our Vision
A Thailand where adults approaching their later working years make tax and savings decisions with clarity and confidence, informed by practical knowledge rather than guesswork.
Our Mission
To deliver carefully structured, jargon-light education on Thai tax systems and savings vehicles, tailored specifically for adults who have built careers and assets and now want to manage them more thoughtfully.
Our Values
Transparency in how we teach, patience with how people learn, and honesty about the limits of what education alone can provide. We do not overstate; we inform.
Our Educators
Each member of the Mongkhol team brings years of direct experience with Thai taxation, savings planning, and adult education.
Arthit Mongkhol
With over eighteen years in Thai tax advisory work, Arthit brings genuine depth to concepts that can easily become opaque. He leads the foundational and advanced programmes and guides each cohort personally.
Siriporn Chaiwat
Siriporn specialises in retirement savings structures, provident fund mechanics, and SSF allocations. She designs the curriculum for our intermediate course and oversees participant progress across all programmes.
Nattawut Prasert
Nattawut facilitates the live group workshops across all three courses. His background in RMF and government bond analysis makes complex comparisons tangible. He also leads the scenario modeling sessions in the advanced course.
How We Maintain Quality
We hold our programmes to clear standards β not as marketing claims, but as operating principles we review regularly.
Reviewed Curriculum
All course content is reviewed annually against Thai Revenue Department publications and updated whenever relevant regulations change.
Small Group Sizes
We deliberately limit enrolment in each cohort to allow educators to give meaningful attention to each participant's questions and progress.
Participant Confidentiality
Any personal financial information shared during workshops or advisory sessions is treated with strict confidentiality and never used outside its stated context.
Accessible Teaching Methods
We use worked examples, personal scenarios, and plain-language explanations. Technical terms are introduced gradually and always in context.
Post-Course Support
Participants in our intermediate and advanced courses have access to follow-up sessions within 90 days of completing the programme, to revisit questions as they apply their learning.
Documented Learning Outcomes
Each course comes with a clear description of what participants will be able to understand and do upon completion β written before the course, not after.
Tax Education Grounded in Thai Context
Thailand's personal income tax framework includes a range of deductions that many taxpayers either overlook or misunderstand. The allowances tied to Retirement Mutual Funds, Super Savings Funds, and provident fund contributions are particularly relevant to adults over 40, who often have both the income and the years remaining to benefit meaningfully from structured contributions.
Mongkhol approaches this subject not as a set of rules to memorise but as a framework to understand β one that becomes clearer and more applicable as each participant works through their own financial picture in a supported environment.
Located in the Phra Nakhon district of central Bangkok, Mongkhol serves a wide range of participants β Thai professionals approaching senior roles, self-employed individuals planning for retirement, and long-term expatriates who have built financial lives in Thailand and want to navigate them more knowledgeably.
Our educators hold backgrounds in Thai tax advisory practice and adult education. We combine subject-matter depth with teaching approaches suited to learners who have not studied finance formally but bring considerable life and professional experience to the room.
